What do corporations, individual citizens, the Wisconsin National Guard, service organizations, and school children all have in common? They reach across borders and positively impact lives in Nicaragua through Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners of the Americas, Inc. W/NP has facilitated health projects, agricultural assistance, emergency assistance, skill training, and cross-cultural activities in Nicaragua continuously for more than forty years. We invite you to become a part of this effective and trusted international organization.

In additional to statewide projects, our Partner City network remains strong. Twenty Wisconsin cities are linked with twenty Nicaraguan cities. These partnerships engage in unique activities that include child feeding centers, lending libraries, Kitchen Gardens, the Boy Scout Bicycle Project, Learning Centers, Farmer to Farmer, Firefighters United, and many more. Through these activities, we have developed a solid network of people from Wisconsin and Nicaragua that work together to improve lives.

With all of the current and numerous global tensions, we are becoming more aware each day of the small amount of attention that the U.S. is paying to Latin America. If we don't support programs in developing and transitional countries, who will?

Quoting Alice Walker, "Just because we are in the age of knowing who does not eat and why does not permit us the luxury of inaction." Learning Centers training workshops, chicken projects, and primary health care training are all bottom-up programs that lead to sustainable development, growing healthy children, and building a healthy country.

Our broad spectrum of activities demands accountability and sustainability, critical elements of a solid organization. Would you please consider a healthy donation as we keep W/NP alive and well?
