W/NP has a longstanding history of collaborative agriculture and community development projects throughout Nicaragua.
· Cornerstone Project
The Cornerstone Project provided multiple learning and training opportunities through the exchange of local government officials from Wisconsin and Nicaragua.
· Cultural Diversity
We are indeed fortunate to be a part of POA, a great multicultural organization whose primary focus is promoting international goodwill and understanding.
· Health
W/NP continued maternal and child health programs in the Jinotega area and initiated similar programs in the Cardenas region during the project period of 2003.
· Humanitarian Assistance
Nicaragua, our partner country, and its people have faced more than their share of challenges in past decades.
· Women In Development
Collaboration with and support from the various organizations has provided invaluable funding, supplies, and training for the Women in Development activities.
