The following is a message received by the Oshkosh Partner City Committee from Pastor Uriel Bucardo, who is the Partner City Coordinator in Condega.
"Thank you to the Oshkosh committee and to the city of Oshkosh for your help to the city of Condega, Nicaragua. God bless the Partners of the Americas, Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners, and Oshkosh/Condega Partners. We send a very friendly greeting with much love, for your efforts to make this first shipment a reality. These supplies will be extremely beneficial to the children, the sick, the students, the elderly, and the adults of Condega."
Since arrival, most of the supplies have been distributed. Pastor Bucardo told us that the clinics in the area were thrilled to get the medical supplies. We also sent many school supplies, which went to pre-school and primary school children. Condega also received thirteen bicycles, some of which we are recommending be given to the police department; the others are to be distributed however they will be most beneficial.
Pastor Bucardo took some pictures of himself and the Condega Partner City Committee in front of the boxes of the shipment, which he will also be sending us.
