The following is a great example of how we can honor our loved ones who have gone before us. There is comfort in knowing that their memories will live on by helping to improve the lives of others.
When my mother passed away, I received many words of comfort along with donations in her name. I decided to honor the memory of both of my parents by sponsoring a W/NP project. After reviewing various options, my family decided to build a house which would also serve as a Learning Center to be nestled in a rural community west of Managua. A family member had then noted that we could keep the fund active and support any additions or work that later needed to be done. Contributions will continue to help a family who would not otherwise have a house. Also, there will be technical skill classes offered there for community members. My parents would be honored by this legacy.
