What do companies, individual citizens, the National Guard, service organizations, and school children all have in common? They reach across borders and positively impact lives in Nicaragua through Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners of the Americas, Inc. They have offered assistance to health, agricultural, and emergency programs as well as to cross-cultural, skill-building activities in Nicaragua continuously for forty years.
In addition to statewide projects, our Partner City network remains strong. Twenty Wisconsin cities linked with twenty Nicaraguan cities work together on projects such as Nicaragua Reads, Seed Harvesting, the Boy Scout Bicycle Project, Sewing/Learning Centers, the Backpack Project, and many more.
To continue these projects we need your help. Become involved by financially supporting these activities through our Capital Campaign, "A Bold Step Forward."
Your investment will help to:
- purchase and renovate our offices and warehouse in Nicaragua;
- build a training center in Managua;
- support programming throughout Nicaragua.
If you would like to name a portion of the building for someone, please call the office about naming opportunities at 715.346.4702.
Individual donations of any amount are welcome and will be acknowledged. A new category for giving is "Amonic," Nicaragua friends of Nicaragua. Major donors in the following categories will be honored on a plaque in our Wisconsin headquarters.
