After five sea vans from Wisconsin, valued at $440,000, arrived in Honduras on June 7, it took ten more days for them to get through customs and to the warehouse in Managua.

Fortified by food and beverages donated by the Superior/La Gateada - El Corale Partners, thirty volunteers comprised of the Chinandega and Managua fire departments, UNA, Manuel Olivares Technical School, N/WC staff, and a volunteer from Wisconsin, Daniel Stuntebeck, worked for two days to unload and distribute donations.

Until the forklift arrived, eight men shouldered the heavy gaylords balanced on metal poles.

Donations went to UNA, the Managua Fire Department, Chinandega, partner cities, and selected schools, hospitals, clinics, and Learning Centers.

Our Nicaragua partners send their thanks for helping them to improve and strengthen the development and implementation of the programs of our organization.
